Adam Krason Meet Adam Krason

Adam Krason serves as a Principal and Architect at ZMM Architects & Engineers (since 2003) and has been involved in a variety of project types, including military facilities, educational facilities, office buildings, justice centers, and multi-unit residential development. Several of the projects that he has worked on have been recognized with Honor and Merit Awards from the West Virginia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. He has been an advocate of sustainable design in West Virginia, participating in a variety of sustainable design seminars throughout the State. Krason previously served as an Architect for ms Consultants Inc. from 1998 to 2003 in both their Youngstown, OH and Charleston, WV offices where he provided design services for educational facilities (K-12 and Higher Education). Krason is President of the West Virginia Qualifications Based Selection Council, a member of Charleston Rotary, President of West Side Main Street, member of the Charleston Area Alliance Economic Development Committee, served as Co-Chair of the Imagine Charleston Neighborhoods Committee, member of the Sustainability Institute at Bridgemont Advisory Council, member of the City of Charleston Municipal Planning Commission and Historic Landmarks Commission, member of the Executive Committee of the West Virginia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and member of the Habitat for Humanity Kanawha and Putnam County Board of Directors. He is a graduate of Leadership WV, and The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, where he earned both a bachelor of architecture and bachelor of civil engineering degrees. Mr. Krason resides in Charleston with his wife Sara and their four children.
